Bondi and Bondi X are soft and cushioned but not very responsive. Nike Invicible is very soft, bouncy, and responsive but can be unstable for some runners. Hyperion Tempo 10.5 insole (above) and Ride 14 10.5 Wide insole (bellow). Notice that the Tempos are actually wider at the top of the forefoot, but considerably narrower in around the midfoot. BTW, Ride 14 Wide is only wide in the midfoot, not a truly wide shoe IMO, but is saved by the soft/stretchy upper.Better for walking. In the budget realm you basically choose 2 from: cheap, fun/responsive, and durable. Most shoes like the Brooks Revel, Nike Pegasus, etc. (traditional daily trainers) choose cheap and durable, so they don't have very fun or responsive rides. Atreyu chose cheap and fun/responsive, so they've got really underwhelming durability.10 20 20 comments Best dunkonkittens • 3 yr. ago There aren’t any objectively best running shoes, it’s all personal preference. A daily trainer suits you training, The Pegasus, react infinity and react miler fits that category. But I would advice you to go to a running store and try a few pairs on a treadmill and see what you enjoy running in. 11

E.g. Hokas (4mm) or Altras (0mm). 2) Increase your cadence, ideally to at least 180 steps/min.
