Thanks everyone. If you are referring to you LR3, then you will need to replace the DFI. The pinch detect goes through the DFI and if the DFI fails so does the pinch detect circuit leading one to think its the actual contacts being the problem when it isn't totally if the contacts are corroded. You can get a replacement DFI from HERE for $30.
