I wouldn't recommend trying to facetank Skeletron Prime's spinning head, but it's a pretty good strategy for any other enemy that isn't programmed to fly away from you. If you aren't using it to facetank, it is a lot more niche and you'll probably only use it as a get-off-me weapon when you're getting swarmed.
