I would not recommend farming for flash drives, or really farming for anything in this game. Just go play the maps where you have quests on and pick up the stuff along the way. As someone pointed out yes you can craft them but not till much later after getting the task from skier. Needs intelligence center lvl2. My experience and the experience of others from comments is that they don't seem to spawn on computers as much anymore.
