Inspired by this post by u/Excellent-Ad-9084, I decided to test the Solvle engine against dictionaries of varying sizes to see how they fare compared to the standard wordle set. Obviously the more letters you have per word, the more information you can gain, but longer words also have surprisingly large numbers of choices and weird shapes. This contrasts Wordle, a daily word game that resets at midnight local time. In other words, a player in New York gets a new puzzle at 12 a.m., but a player in Seattle will still have the previous day’s word, because it is still 9 p.m. where they are. ...
