Elf: One of the best choices for a Witch, Elves get a +2 bonus to both Intelligence and Dexterity, plus a heightened resistance to Elven magic and Enchantment spells. They are also immune to sleep effects.Trickster adds on top of that a mobility check to each hit received and you can get a full wizard spellbook, so get that 20 intelligence. I don't think you really need 10 Int either, as you get 4 starting skills and only really need 3 (Diplomacy or Intimidate, Ride, and Handle Animal for most cavaliers), so you can safely bump that down to 8, or even lower if you're not playing a face and abandoning a mount.Unless I went Order of the Paw (or whatever the subtype cavalier for Halflings is).
